Data Rescue / Data Recovery

Using specialist software TIS can recover data from physically undamaged* Windows PC hard disks and floppy disks that would normally be irretrievable. Some examples of data that can be recovered are: Deleted data Data on a formatted disk Data on a corrupt disk Files damaged due to a system crash Hard disks or floppy disks can be delivered to TIS and will be returned along with the recovered data on an appropriate medium. In some local cases data recovery may be performed on site. As well as recovering entire hard drives worth of data we have specialist tools for repairing single files which may have become corrupt due to a power cut etc. Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, Zip and Outlook database files can all be repaired by TIS and this service can easily be offered by email.

* A physically damaged drive (one that no longer spins or is making noises that suggest it is physically harming itself) must be sent to a specialist firm who have access to a dust free environment in which to rebuild the drive.
